The record for gaining the highest elevation to visit all states and union territories on a bicycle was set by Mr. Vanlallawmzuala Varte of Aizawl, Mizoram. He started his ride to clean air on January 25, 2024, from Aizawl, Mizoram, and travelled across 28 states and 5 union territories, an elevation gain of 1,13,278 meters to spread Awareness of Air Pollution; he completed it at Aizawl, Mizoram, on November 5, 2024. During this period, his actual riding days were 204, and he covered 17,474.38 km ride on bicycle to spread awareness of a clean and sustainable lifestyle, as confirmed on November 19, 2024.
