Highest altitude Tandem Skydive performed by an officer of the Armed Forces
The record for performing the highest altitude Tandem Skydive was set by Wing Commander P. Makeshwar (born on September 25, 1981) of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Being a certified ‘Tandem Master’, he performed a tandem skydive (carrying a passenger) from the highest altitude of 27,460 feet from an aircraft and executed a safe landing on mountainous terrain, at Puga (Ladakh) on October 28, 2025.This successful attempt establishes a key milestone in the skydiving and aviation adventure history, as confirmed on February 6, 2026.
