First to perform Avascular Necrosis (AVN) surgery
The record for being the first to perform an Avascular Necrosis (AVN) surgery was set by Dr. Dhiren Bassi (born on July 15, 1979) of Ludhiana, Punjab. He performed the surgery, with the help of Ortho-biologics Implant method, on a patient suffering in the left hip joint (femoral head). Avascular Necrosis (AVN), the death of bone tissue due to loss of blood supply, was treated in the patient by Core Decompression (OSS GROW) as confirmed on January 28, 2022.
