The record for performing the self endoscopy was set by Dr. Nitin Jayteerth Joshi (born on July 22, 1978) of Nanded, Maharashtra. He performed his own endoscopy safely on October 17, 2018 at his clinic ‘ Galaxy-center for GI & liver diseases’ without any other doctor’s medical supervision, as confirmed on December 27, 2021.
