The record for making the first found footage movie in Tamil was set by Jishnu Dev S.S. (born on March 24, 1994) of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He made the first ever found footage film in Tamil titled ‘Amanuda’, which was released in January 2021 on an OTT. He was the story editor, director of photography and director of the film, as confirmed on July 8, 2021.
