The record for being the fastest to swim 50 metres using a kickboard was set by V. T. Lavith Aadheeran (born on February 8, 2022) of Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. He swam 50 metres (2 laps) across the length of a swimming pool (measuring 25 m x 16 m with a depth of 4 feet to 6.5 feet) in 4 minutes and 44 seconds, at the age of 2 years, 9 months and 21 days, as confirmed on November 29, 2024.
