The record for being the fastest to carve out the Indian Pledge on chalk sticks was set by Palli Tarun Kumar (born on August 22, 2004) of East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. He beautifully carved out the Indian Pledge on 9 coloured sticks of chalk in 1 hour, 18 minutes and 37 seconds, at the age of 18 years, 7 months and 7 days, as confirmed on March 29, 2023.
