The record for being the fastest to complete a solo motorcycle expedition from Chennai to Mumbai was set by V. Boopathi (born on January 24, 1998) of Salem, Tamil Nadu. He started the motorcycle expedition at 1.20 a.m. from Chennai Bypass on September 23, 2023, and completed it at 6.54 p.m. at Chembur (Mumbai) the same day, covering a distance of 1,343 km in 17 hours and 34 minutes, as confirmed on October 9, 2023.
