The record for the fastest recitation of the capitals of Indian states was set by V. Thirumurugan (born on March 11, 2015) of Salem, Tamil Nadu. He recited the capitals of all the Indian states in just 13 seconds and 4 milliseconds at the age of 6 years, 5 months and 12 days, as confirmed on August 23, 2021.
