The record for performing the fastest north to south expedition on a bicycle by trio was set by Sheik Syed (born on June 1, 1983) of Madurai, Tamil Nadu along with his two friends. They completed 3520 km on a bicycle expedition in 14 days, 20 hours and 40 minutes started on December 24, 2021 at 6.20 am from Srinagar, travelled through Udhampur, Nakodar, Fatehpur, Aurangabad, Bangalore and ended their expedition at 3.00 am in Kanyakumari on January 8, 2022, as confirmed on January 25, 2022.
