The record for being the fastest to recite the periodic table in forward and backward order was set by Yuvaan Nagesh Srivastava (born on July 16, 2019) of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He recited the names of all 118 elements of the periodic table in forward and backward order (ascending and descending order of atomic numbers) in 1 minute, 58 seconds and 82 milliseconds, at the age of 6 years, 10 months and 19 days, as confirmed on June 4, 2026.
