The record for being the fastest to complete the golden quadrilateral car expedition was set by Sudeep N S (born on February 7, 1988) of Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, along with three other team members. They covered a total distance of 5962 km in 74 hours and 53 minutes. They started from Thane, Maharashtra, at 7 am on September 30, 2021, while following the route ‘Delhi-Kolkata-Chennai-Mumbai’ and returned to Thane at 9.53 am on October 3, 2021, as confirmed on February 19, 2022.
