The record for being the fastest to complete Chadar trek was set by Gunjan Pankaj Prabhu Narvekar (born on August 2, 2010) of North Goa, Goa. She successfully completed the Chadar Trek expedition over the frozen Zanskar River in Leh (Ladakh) in 3 days from January 11, 2023 to January 13, 2023 at the age of 12 years, 8 months and 23 days, as confirmed on April 25, 2023.
