Expedition from the lowest to the highest motorable road by a pick up
The record for an expedition from the lowest to the highest motorable road by a pickup was set by Shashwat Gupta from Isuzu Motors India Pvt. Ltd. Symbolising the spirit of 76th Independence Day, he drove the Isuzu Dmax V Cross 1.9 model from Kuttanad (7 feet below sea level) in Kerala on 7th August 2023 and completed the journey at Umling La (19024 feet above sea level) in Ladakh on 15th August 2023. During this ride, he covered a total distance of 4,600 kms to the highest motorable road as confirmed on August 18, 2023.
