The record for making the biggest nail mosaic of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika was set by Kapil Boruah (born on December 31, 1992) of Lakhimpur, Assam. He used 12,181 one-inch iron nails (panel pins) to make the portrait of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika. The portrait was made on plywood (measuring 3 ft x 4 ft in breadth and length respectively), as confirmed on December 11, 2020.
