Biggest Durga idol made using old newspapers, wool and bamboo by a teen
The record for making the biggest Durga idol using newspapers, wool, and bamboo was set by Diptorup Mondal (born on September 7, 2007) of Howrah, West Bengal. He made a beautiful Goddess Durga idol (measuring 7 feet in width and 6 feet in height) using newspapers, wool, bamboo, white paper, wood, rope, fevicol and different colours at the age of 15 years and 23 days, as confirmed on September 30, 2022.
