The record for performing the maximum number of Bharatanatyam dance mudras in the least time was set by Sruthi Umesh (born on May 1, 1990) of Madakkathara, Kerala. She recalled the names of Bharatanatyam dance mudras while performing 52 Samyukta and Asamyukta Hasta mudras (single and double hand gestures of Bharatanatyam dance) in 21 seconds, as confirmed on January 29, 2022.
