An innovative Piezoelectric road model
The record for making an innovative Piezoelectric road model was set by Mukund Kumar Yadav (born on August 24, 2002) of Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh. This road is a mixture of unused plastics and carbon. The piezoelectric effect is the ability of some materials to generate electric charge in response to applied mechanical stress so that the mechanical energy, which is generated by the pressure of the vehicles, can be converted to electrical energy. This road conserves water, generates electricity, reuses plastic and carbon and protects the environment, as confirmed on April 22, 2021.
