Amarnath Nandi – Appreciation
Amarnath Nandi (born on August 31, 1984) of Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, is appreciated for making a portrait of Rabindranath Tagore with shaving blade. He made the portrait on art paper that was painted with oil pastel colours and then he made the portrait (measuring 30 inches in height and 20 inches in width) by scratching the colours with the help of a blade in just 2 minutes and 31.44 seconds, as confirmed on October 23, 2021.
