A unique audio-video project for Kathak students
The record for starting a unique audio-video project for Kathak students was set by Manasi Sachin Atre (born on September 22, 1981) of Thane, Mumbai. She made a series of 8 YouTube videos titled ‘Jeevaniyan’ (in both Marathi and English) where Kathak students can learn about more than 50 past and present gurus of Kathak. Manasi, who is a trained Kathak dancer and teacher, started the project in June 2020 and completed in September 2020, as confirmed on March 27, 2021.
