Largest pilgrimage organised for senior citizens
The record for organising the largest pilgrimage for senior citizens was set by 42 Leuva Patidar Uva Mandal, Patan, Gujarat. A total of 4500 senior citizens’ visit was arranged for three holy places of Gujarat i.e., Somnath, Khodaldham (Rajkot) and Dwarika. A team of 20 doctors along with 600 volunteers joined the pilgrimage, which started on July 28, 2023 at 3:00pm from Patan and Mehsana Districts and ended on 31, July 2023 at 5:00 pm at Patan. 115 buses used in the pilgrimage and each participant was protected with accident insurance for their journey; as confirmed on July 29,2023.
