Maximum awards achieved in Karate by a teen
The record for achieving the maximum number of awards in karate was set by B. Sri Varsha (born on August 16, 2005) of Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. She achieved a total of 337 awards namely 187 certificates, 71 medals, 62 trophies and 17 shields in Malaysian Open Championship, US Open Championship, Commonwealth Championship, National and International Championships at the age of 17 years, 7 months and 8 days, as confirmed on March 24, 2023.
