Largest Indian flag hoisted on Mt. Yunam
The record for hoisting the largest Indian flag on Mt. Yunam was set by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) & Go India adventure team. The 19-member team led by Nilachala Parida (born on May 15, 1993) of Khorda, Odisha, climbed the peak Mount Yunam / Unnamed (6114m) on August 15, 2021, on the occasion of Independence Day, and hoisted the 151ft. long Indian flag, as confirmed on February 17, 2022.
