Aiswarya J. (born on February 3, 2004) of Palakkad, Kerala, is titled as ‘IBR Achiever’ for creating an innovative sustainable fashion collection on the theme ‘Kalpavriksha – Tree of Life’ as her Graduation Project at NIFT Kannur. She created 6 handmade dresses using raw, unspun coconut fibres and Kerala handloom cotton during weaving as well as naturally dyed handloom fabrics, using coconut husk extract and paired them with handcrafted coconut shell accessories, as confirmed on September 8, 2026.
