Hanoi Celebrates ‘Vườn Tình Yêu – Prem Ki Surdhara’

The spirit of India–Vietnam friendship came alive in Hanoi as distinguished personalities from both countries gathered to celebrate the success of the international film “Vườn Tình Yêu – Prem Ki Surdhara” on WAVES OTT, which operates under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. Produced by the India Book of Records, the film represents a distinctive cultural and cinematic initiative that connects the traditions, creativity and people of India and Vietnam.

 

The grand celebration was hosted by Prof. Dr. Chu Bao Que, Brand Ambassador for Indo-Vietnam Cultural Heritage and the conceptualiser of the film. He also serves as Chairman of the Policy and Development Consultative Council, Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations. Held in the Vietnamese capital, the event brought together prominent personalities, cultural representatives and officials, creating an atmosphere of friendship and appreciation for the artistic collaboration that went into the making of the film.

Among the distinguished guests were Dr. Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam; Dr. Le Doan Hop, Former Minister of Information and Communications; and Dr. Nguyen Hoang Anh (Julia), Secretary General of the World Records Union (WorldKings). Their presence added significance to the occasion. The participation of senior personalities from Vietnam and India reflected the importance of cultural initiatives that create opportunities for people of both nations to discover, understand and appreciate each other’s rich heritage.

 

The celebration was also attended by Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury, President of the World Records Union, and Mrs. Neerja Roy Chowdhury, Managing Editor of the India Book of Records. Their participation highlighted the role of the India Book of Records in supporting initiatives that showcase cultural achievements and create platforms for international collaboration.

One of the most memorable moments of the celebration was the presentation of a memento to Prof. Dr. Chu Bao Que by Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury and Mrs. Neerja Roy Chowdhury. The memento was presented to commemorate the success of Vườn Tình Yêu – Prem Ki Surdhara and to recognise Prof. Dr. Chu Bao Que’s significant contribution to the making and success of the film.

 

The honour also acknowledged his efforts in bringing the project to life and in using cinema as a medium to promote Indo-Vietnamese cultural heritage. His vision and involvement have helped create a platform where the artistic traditions and cultural identities of the two countries can meet and find expression through storytelling.

Their participation reflected the growing role of digital platforms in taking Indian and international creative content to audiences across geographical boundaries.

 

At its core, Vườn Tình Yêu – Prem Ki Surdhara goes beyond being a film. It is a cultural initiative that seeks to build connections through creativity and storytelling.
