Rajendra Balakrishna Sirsikar (born on January 1, 1979) of Uttara Kannada, Karnataka, is titled as ‘IBR Achiever’ for being the founder of ‘Shree Padma Seva Trust – Amazing Pet Planet Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre’ in Sirsi (Karnataka), along with his colleague. On October 21, 2025, they took the custody of 3 Himalayan yaks and brought them from Spiti (Himachal Pradesh) to Sirsi. The yaks are being fostered in a rescue setting under expert supervision, strict habitat management, continuous care and are gradually acclimatising to their new environment, as confirmed on August 31, 2026.
