The record for donating the maximum number of books to a school was set by Ananya Vaidyanath (born on December 2, 2016) of Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. She donated 223 books to ‘Malayala Vidyalayam High School’ on November 22, 2025, to set up a library on the school premises, through the NGO ‘Good Works India’, at the age of 8 years, 11 months and 20 days, as confirmed on February 10, 2026.
