The record for painting the maximum number of miniature images of the Mahabharata and the Ramayana was set by Tanvi Bhowmik (born on September 19, 2012) of Howrah, West Bengal. She drew and painted 259 images of the Mahabharata and 127 images of the Ramayana (each image measuring 1 inch x 1 inch) on square pieces of paper, using water colours, at the age of 13 years, 2 months and 26 days, as confirmed on December 15, 2025.
