The record for the Maximum Bhagavad Gita Shlokas Chanted by Students Simultaneously was set by SRS Heritage School, Chitradurga, Karnataka. On the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami a total of 1,181 students participated in chanting 70 shlokas of the Bhagavad Gita. The initiative aimed to spread the timeless teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, strengthen students’ connection with Sanskrit and Indian heritage, and inspire young minds to embrace and carry forward the values and wisdom of Lord Krishna, as confirmed om September 4, 2026.
