The record for Longest Continuous Chanting of Sacred Shlokas by an Organisation was set by Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Roorkee, Uttarakhand. A total of 51 students have continuously chanted 1954 shlokas for 6hours 53 minutes 38 seconds from the Charak Samhita Sutra Sthana, celebrating the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda and honouring the legacy of Acharya Charak. The event aims to promote traditional knowledge, strengthen students’ connection with classical Ayurvedic texts, and inspire greater appreciation of India’s rich medical heritage as confirmed on August 17, 2026.
