The record for conducting the maximum participation in a reading event was set by A.U.P. School (Cherukara) of Malappuram, Kerala. A total number of 1081 participants, comprising students, teachers and parents, read together in a reading event conducted on June 19, 2026, on National Reading Day, on the school premises, as confirmed on July 9, 2026.
