The record for performing a single backflip at the highest altitude was set by Saji Natung (born on July 4, 1997) of East Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh. He performed a single backflip on a snowy slope at the highest altitude of Yunam Peak, at a height of 6,111 metres (20,049 feet), as confirmed on July 16, 2026.
