The record for being the fastest to play arohanam and avarohanam of 20 Carnatic ragas on the Veena was set by A. Joshwin (born on April 30, 2012) of Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. He played the arohanam (the ascending scale of notes) and avarohanam (the descending scale of notes) of 20 Carnatic ragas, namely Harikambhoji, Mohanam and Revati, among others, on the Veena in one minute, at the age of 13 years, 11 months and 15 days, as confirmed on April 14, 2026.
