The record for being the oldest Nata Pung artist to perform at a live event was set by Sapam Kullabi Singh (born on March 31, 1925) of Imphal West, Manipur. He gave a Nata Pung performance for a duration of 30 minutes, at a live event in the Sangeet Natak Academy Festival, held at Vigyan Bhavan, Mysuru, on May 1, 2025, at the age of 100 years, 1 month and 1 day. He is a recipient of the Sangeet Natak Academy Award, Manipur State Kala Academy Fellow and the Manipur State Kala Academy Award, among others, as confirmed on February 24, 2026.
