The record for performing the leg split pose on a monkey bar for the longest duration was set by Gauri Sharma (born on October 1, 2019) of Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. She performed and held herself in the leg split pose, with both arms outstretched and parallel to each other, on a monkey bar (length: 4.5 m, width: 0.6 m and height from the ground: 2 m) for 26 minutes and 34 seconds, at the age of 6 years, 7 months and 1 day, as confirmed on May 2, 2026.
