The record for playing the maximum number of ragas on different sarod instruments was set by Jashojeet Mukherjee (born on April 10, 2017) of Howrah, West Bengal. He played 11 different ragas, including Bilawal, Bhimpalasi, Durga, Kirwani and other ragas, on 11 different sarod instruments (which were made in 1840, 1860, 1900, 1956, 1978, 1987, 1991, 2010, 2015, 2022 and 2024) in 9 minutes and 7 seconds, at the age of 9 years and 3 days, as confirmed on April 13, 2026.
