The record for creating an artwork of an underwater scene blindfolded using pistachio shells was set by Achinthya D. (born on May 30, 2016) of Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka. She created an artwork of an underwater scene on a sheet of paper (measuring 23 cm x 19 cm), blindfolded, in 27 minutes and 36 seconds, using pistachio shells, glue, water colours and painting brush, at the age of 9 years, 10 months and 4 days, as confirmed on April 3, 2026.
