The record for being the youngest to pronounce and spell a long English word was set by R. Iravanth (born on July 8, 2020) of Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu. He pronounced and spelt a 45-lettered long word ‘pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis’, from the Oxford English Dictionary, in 19 seconds, at the age of 5 years, 7 months and 15 days, as confirmed on February 23, 2026.
