The record for the ‘Largest Banjara Patchwork Embroidery Artwork’ was set by Rathods Educational Charitable Cultural and Heritage Trust, under the visionary leadership and craftsmanship of Dr Naresh F Rathod. Artists of the Trust crafted a large size banjara patchwork (measuring height 10.1 feet x breath 8.7feet) constructed through traditional hand-stitching methods depicting ‘Gor Yaadi Dharmani’. This artwork showcases attire, jewellery, ornaments, embroidery patterns, shells, mirrors, representing authentic objects and decorative practices from the historical lifestyle of the Banjara people, as confirmed on March 3, 2026.
