Maximum Students Building Reflector Telescopes
The record for the maximum number of students building reflector telescopes was set by the Dr. Hulikal Nataraj, President KSSRC. During the eight-day residential programme, 150 students came together to build various 100 mm aperture reflector telescopes by grinding and polishing optical mirrors, creating precision concave surfaces and testing focal lengths, fabricating telescope tubes and dobsonian mounts, as confirmed on October 8, 2025.
