The record for spelling the maximum number of English words was set by Divyansh Shankar (born on April 15, 2016) of Thane, Maharashtra. He recalled the spellings of 630 English words (ranging from 3 to 8 letters) in 15 minutes and 22 seconds by hearing the words, at the age of 9 years, 5 months and 28 days, as confirmed on October 13, 2025.
