The record for making mehndi designs on the longest cloth was set by Lakshmi Ramachandra Naik (born on March 13, 2004) of Uttara Kannada, Karnataka. She made intricate mehndi designs on a long cloth (measuring 35 feet and 8 inches x 3 feet and 8 inches) in 11 hours and 13 minutes, using 84 mehndi cones, as confirmed on October 6, 2025.
