The record for being the fastest to complete a motorcycle expedition and trek to Tilicho Lake in Nepal was set by Jayjit Sen (born on June 16, 1991) of Howrah, West Bengal, along with his wife as the pillion rider. They started their motorcycle expedition from Howrah on April 12, 2025; reached Tilicho Base Camp on April 19, 2025, from where they trekked to Tilicho Lake (at an altitude of 4,919 metres) on April 20, 2025; having completed their entire expedition and trek to Tilicho Lake in 8 days for a social cause ‘Stop Child Labour’, as confirmed on July 16, 2025.
