The record for the tallest eco-friendly Shivling structure made with bamboo was set by Akshay Samiti, Lucknow. During Ganesh Utsav, from August 27, 2025, to September 5, 2025, they installed a 53.4 feet tall Shivling-shaped pandal, constructed entirely from bamboo, wooden battens, and cloth. This towering structure, part of the renowned “Lucknow ke Maharaja” celebration, which became a major devotional and public attraction. The objective of this pandal is to blend creativity with devotion, offering a heartfelt and artistic tribute, as confirmed on September 5, 2025.
