Youngest brain-dead organ donor
The record for being the youngest brain-dead organ donor was set by Janmesh Lenka (born on September 25, 2023) of Rourkela, Odisha. The brain-dead infant underwent organ harvesting procedure, for the donation of his liver and kidneys, on March 2, 2025 morning at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, at the age of 1 year, 5 months and 5 days, as confirmed on July 10, 2025.
