Longest duration to swim in a river by a kid with tied hands and legs
The record for swimming in a river for the longest duration with tied hands and legs was set by Kedar M. Baliga (born on April 1, 2019) of Ernakulam, Kerala. He swam in the river for 30 minutes, with tied hands and legs, covering the distance of one kilometre from Aluva Manappuram Mandapam Kadavu to Desom Kuttivanam Avasana Kadavu in the Periyar river, under the guidance of coach Saji Valasseril, at the age of 6 years, 2 months and 23 days, as confirmed on June 24, 2025.
