Highest Altitude Achieved by the Sounding Rocket Made by Students
This record for achieving the highest altitude by the sounding rocket made by students was set by the SDCET Incubation Forum in collaboration with IndoplanetX Space Vault & Research Pvt. Ltd. The rocket was launched on February 9, 2025, at S.D. College of Engineering & Technology, Muzaffarnagar, and achieved an altitude of 3.5 km. Various students collectively made a sounding rocket using a rocket body tube, engine mount, propellants, nozzle, and recovery system, as confirmed on May 16, 2025.
