The record for receiving the Vishwakarma Rashtriya Puraskar for the maximum number of consecutive years was set by Somasundaram P. (born on May 11, 1971) of Salem, Tamil Nadu. He is the recipient of the prestigious ‘Vishwakarma Rashtriya Puraskar’ (Class- A, B and C) from the Ministry of Labour and Employment (Government of India) for six consecutive years from 2013 to 2018 for his suggestion for promoting industrial efficiency, as confirmed on April 5, 2025.
