The record for the maximum number of students performing single hula hoop spins simultaneously was set by NS Dance Academy in Mumbai, Maharashtra, under the leadership of Nishita Rathod. In an impressive display of skill, 101 students simultaneously performed a total of 2,78,760 rotations of single hula hoops around the waist in 30 minutes, as confirmed on February 22, 2025.
