Arav Bhardwaj has made his mark in the India Book of Records, a feat that has paved the way for him to pursue his dreams with even greater determination and leading to extensive acknowledgment. Arav Bhardwaj of Delhi, has etched his name in the history for becoming the one to ride bicycle for the longest distance at the age of 13 years. Arav has become a true inspiration for the country and an epitome of determination and strength. He, along with his father completed the longest bicycle ride to celebrate the 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Arav’s phenomenal journey was flagged off by Shri N. Biren Singh, Honourable Chief Minister of Manipur from INA War Memorial on April 14, 2022 completed at India Gate, Delhi on May 15, 2022 travelling across 7 states and covering 2,612 km in 32 days incredibly, and in the Subsequent years he completed a 1,251 km journey from the Kargil War Memorial to India Gate to commemorate Kargil Vijay Divas in 2024 on a bicycle.
Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) – is given to children with exceptional abilities and outstanding achievements. The awards are given to children in the age group 5 – 18 years for their excellence in seven categories for Bravery, Art & Culture, Environment, Innovation, Science & Technology, Social Service and Sports that deserve national recognition. Each awardee of PMRBP is given a medal, certificate and a citation booklet.
